I’m beginning to think there really is a sofa for everyone at DFS as they have just teamed up with French Connection to launch a super-comfy 26-piece collection. If you were excited by French Connection’s hugely successful home launch back in April 2012, then I promise this will also appeal. It’s smart and classic yet relaxed, with scrunchy linen fabrics, denim blues and chalky whites. Think luxury coastal living…perhaps in The Hamptons…

    1. Coast Cuddler sofa, £899. 2. Coast Accent chair, £499. 3. Slate Cuddler sofa, £849.

The FC Home design team is headed up by Lorraine Brennan (whose CV includes stints at Conran and Kelly Hoppen). There are loose and fitted versions and pipe detailing for a more tailored look. I like their ‘Cuddler’ sofas best. They’re sold as 1.5 seaters so enough room for 2 people to get cosy but sod that, I’d be happier with one to myself, curled up with a huge mug of tea and left over Christmas stocking chocolates

The sofas are made to order in Derbyshire using traditional craftsmanship and traditional British fabrics. They’re price points are really reasonable too, from £499 – £1,500. Available to buy now in 10 DFS stores across the country and also online. What do you think? Do you like??
